Black Magic Media

Black Magic Media and Paul Mullan have been involved in Variety - the children’s charity in Australia since 1987 and across the Tasman since the formation of the New Zealand Tent. Variety’s major fund raiser is the annual Bash, a unique motor event started by Dick Smith back in 1985 and designed as a drive in the outback with a few mates to raise money for underprivileged kids. Nearly $100 million has been raised since then to help kids in both countries.

Black Magic Media has provided television services for the provision of news and sport coverage in a variety of forms from live coverage to news stories.

In addition several documentaries have been produced over the years covering specific years plus highlights DVDs are available from most years of the Australian (and later NSW) and New Zealand Bashes. Many of these DVDs can be purchased by contacting us for further information.
